2025 Project Pride

Community Project Pride SUMMIT COUNTY, OHIO – Bath Township and Village of Richfield—Community members are invited to participate in the annual roadside clean-up event, known as Project Pride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Rain or shine, the event will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at noon. Volunteers are asked to meet at Revere High School, 3420 Everett Road, Richfield, Ohio 44286, to check-in, pick up instructions, receive road assignments and gather safety supplies. To further reduce waste, improve wildlife habitats and eliminate environmental harm, Bath Township, the Village of Richfield and Richfield Township will provide additional recycling options during the Project Pride event:


• Bath Fire Department, 3864 West Bath Road, Akron, Ohio 44333, offers an area to

recycle aluminum cans to benefit children burn survivors through funding and

educational support.


• A document shred and electronics recycling event will be held throughout the duration of

Project Pride at Richfield Town Hall Pavilion from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cracked

televisions and monitors, refrigerators, washers and dryers will not be accepted. No preshredded or wet paper, x-rays, or file folders will be accepted.


• To dispose of yard debris, excluding grass clippings, the Bath Township Organics

Recycling Facility, 1188 N. Cleveland Massillon Road, will be open on April 26, 2025.

Contractors are excluded from using the facility.


• Secure drug disposal will be available to discard unused and expired medications at both

the Bath Township Police Department, 3864 West Bath Road, Akron, Ohio 44333 or the

Richfield Village Police Department, 4450 W. Streetsboro Road, Richfield, Ohio 44286.


Recycling services provided during Project Pride are free of charge to Bath and Richfield residents. For additional event information, search “Project Pride” on Facebook or visit www.bathtownship.org


As a critical component to the event success, volunteers (18+) willing to supervise student groups must indicate their interest by registering through SurveyMonkey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/QP68JN3. Registration through the Survey Monkey link is also requested for community members, or others who plan to participate in the event.
